   I have also gotten crazy letters from different companies wanting me to consolidate and I already have my loans consolidated. You do benefit from consolidating because if you have loans from different companies then the consolidation will just make that into one amount instead of having 3 seperate loan amounts to pay.

   It is a highly competitive business, and a highly profitable one. Most student loans are paid off over decades. Do yourself a favor, pay them off as fast as you can or buy a home and build some equity so you can do a home equity loan and get a write-off on the interest payments.

   Seriously, wait until the mortgage ***** get you, the you will truly be impressed by the level of junk-mail….
